A Family Affair can be your loved one’s home away from home. We boast of well-trained staff and a loving and nurturing environment at our two locations. Our facilities in Lapeer and Haslett are spacious and contain beautiful scenery and wildlife. Our homes are monitored and secured with fire alarms, motion detectors, sprinkler systems and more.
We provide activities and amenities that will help your family member transition into an assisted living community. We serve three nutritious home-cooked meals a day and cater to special dietary requests. At A Family Affair, we are also wheelchair accessible, and we encourage exercise and participation in the various activities planned for our residents. A Family Affair offers the following:
- 24-hour care
- Trained staff to dispense all medications (annual CPR training and medication training)
- Home Physicians, Nurses, Physical Therapy, Podiatrist, Visiting Physicians, Nurses, PTs
- Assistance bathing, dressing, personal hygiene
- Three nutritious home-cooked meals, plus snacks, special dietary requests
- References available upon request
